Have you noticed todays young people walking – or even biking – with both their ears filled with solid earplugs whilst their new telephome is hammering out their favourite music at a sound level blocking out everything else!
Some will not respond to anything but a truck hitting them in their ass!
So – yes – it’s possible to be too engulfed in what you are doing. Like this little
yellow sparrow which may thank his creator that I wasn’t a hungry cat!
Be sensible and stay alive!

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
It’s always a bad idea to be unaware of your surroundings
It is! Just imagine if I had been a hungry cat?!
Too funny 😂
I could show you a picture of my cat having his own private ‘warm lunch’ and you’d understand!
I’ve seen it a few times more than necessary but what’s worse is when that fresh lunch on a run doesn’t stay down
I agree, and also while driving their car! Yikes!
Well, in a car you’ll have to consider that they have a radio turned on or that they might be distracted by their instruments for a few seconds, but man on a bike. . .? Or a pedestrian wandering along the footwalks or across the road? You expect him/her to be a part of a traffic situation and that they kind of register the sounds, the bustle and the movements around them? But they don’t!
And in a second they might be dead as a doornail!
Yep, you’re right! The human race is not too smart sometimes! 🙂
You may repeat that a couple of times! For years boards along our main roads were prohibited. Reason: They could steal the attention from the drivers.
Later it was prohibited to use your smart phone whilst driving, and not for any reason could you send messages, MMS’ , snaps or other forms . . .
At the same time, the exact same authorities are acknowleding new modern cars with modern touch screens from 8 to 40 inches, and some of them don’t even lit up before your finger is an inch away from the screen. How’s that for stealing attentions?
Indeed!
There’s bound to be serious accidents in the very near future, and guess who will get the blame!
I totally agree with you!
