Some live longer –

It’s a fact that some sunsets live longer in your memory than others, and no two sunsets are alike – ever! So there will be a dozen or more that really stands out.
That will never be quite forgotten! And this is one of them!
Denne solnedgangen ble fotografert en kveld i Februar 2012! Og den er fortsatt ‘her’!
This sunset was shot on one February evening in the year 2012! And it’s still ‘here’!

It looks like a beautiful painting

Each sunset has its own persona, which is why they are so special. This photo is exceptional due to the vibrant golds! Our temps are hot but the norm for this time of the year.

I think the temperatures have been rising just abot everywhere, Eugenia. In large parts of Norway we’ve had temperatures approximately 10 degrees above what’s normal and for a short spell they experienced temperatures above 32 C even as far North as latitude 70 N.
      Beyond 71 N there’s no more Norway! 🙂

Gorgeous sunset, Svein! So peaceful! 🎉 Christine

To be honest, Christine, I cannot remember of there was a storm that evening 🙂
but – does it really matter? A sunset is a visual thing! And in my mind it will always be! 🙂

Yes, thats right! After a few weeks a bit back and forth early May, we suddenly got us a summer that would indeed compete with Mediterranian Ocean!!! There hasn’t been a drop of rain since early May (in my part of the country), and shadow temperatures have been lying round about 28 – 38 degrees C. A couple of evenings we touched 39 degrees C! Fortunately I have a cellar office! 🙂
Just for the hell of it, I went and bought me a new meter which I placed in direct sunshine. It stopped on 60 deg.C – due to the fact that the scales didn’t reach any further! But I’m still here! 🙂
Now it’s Spains turn to sweat. The last 2 days the temperatures down there has touched 45-47 C
    in the shadows!

Gorgeous. I hear that it has been horrendously hot in Norway this year?
