The Moon

Kveldens måne stiger langsomt opp på natthimmelen.
Egentlig bare et ‘test skudd’ for å bli litt bedre kjent med min nye WP editor.

The moon of the evening rises slowly into the night skies.  This is more like a ‘test shot’ in order to experience how my new WP editor works.

Thank you! Those days I was experimenting with hand held photography. (No tripode)
And this way I found a way to shoot pictures like this! I also bought myself a camera that could zoom even further but met with an unexpected problem:
Sincee the distance to the moon is so great, the smalles vibrations here on Mother Earth
(and in my hands) created an moon quake up there. So I’m back to using my old camera!
Search for ‘Red Moon’ and you may see one of those pictures.

  2. Beautiful shot and so much detail on the Moon to be seen, You must have a powerful camera. I am afraid my own little didgetal camera makes the Moon look even more into the distance.. I tried it on that beautiful Summer Moon we had…. Wonderful photo.. and I see you now have more than your two likes.. 🙂 xxx

Not so very powerful, Sue, Just 300 mm! But I do have an 18,1 Mp camera, which means that I may crop a very small part of the original provided it’s sharp enough. (It’s not always) 🙂
