The ‘small Ice-Age’

In recent days we have been able to wake up to white-trimmed lawns and maybe even a few degrees below zero on some mornings. There is no prayer! Now it’s just a matter of finding winter boots and a bubble jacket, but – when the sun is shining, you can also discover the first small ‘works of art’ shaped by the ice of the night.

That looks so cold, but really amazing too!

Well, it is not so bad at the moment; just a couple of degrees below zero, but I imagine the night temperature has been somewhat lower still? Next month, however, we might encounter temperatures at night touching on 10 degrees below!

Crisp cold air – love it!

  3. Winter is beautiful, but after living in Florida for so long, I don’t miss the cold! ❤ Have a great weekend! Cheryl

      Thank you, Cheryl
Yes, I can imagine! But contemplating the issue, I don’t think I would exchange my winter for all the annual hurricanes that create uncertainty and havoc in your area?! And on Nov. 3rd you have got yet another coming in . . . 🙂
