Changing the mountains

Nye bilder 269Well, it’s no me changing things out there, but the change is still unmistakeable. Where did all the ‘green’ go?

There are distinct tones of yellow which hasn’t been there before –

And even if the colors are still warm and friendly, it’s a clear warning that things are about to change –

A small stream is starting on its way towards ther valley floor. Fortunate is the ones that escape the undertow.

Nye bilder 292Løvverket synes å ha forsvunnet?

The foliage seems to have disappeared?

Perhaps I ought to warn you: This peak is much further away then you think. As an experiment it has been taken  at  a distance of at least 5 miles away.

Nye bilder 314Rypelyngen gir fjellet en helt ny farge og mye ser helt annerledes ut.

The dryas is coloring large parts of the mountains as far as you may see –

Nye bilder 317Alle bildene du ser i denne posten er tatt i Nord-Aurdal, Valdres.
