Ett av de første tegnene på at høsten er i anmarsj, er at lokale bønder pløyer opp sine åkre og det endrer i noen grad det visuelle inntrykk fra omgivelsene. Som her –
One of the very first indications that the fall is approaching us is that the local farmers are plowing up their fields . . . Like here!
Men det skaper liksom en litt annen atmosfære også?
–
But it also seems to create a somewhat different atmosphere?

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Plowed fields, even though an indication of fall, seem to have a serenity about them. Eyes fixed?
Well, you know, at my age a lot of people experience some eye problems, but fortunately, we have come that far that it is possible to exchange the natural lens with an artificial one! And if everything goes well (it usually does) I’m supposed to ‘see like an eagle’!
That is going to be quite an experience, bur first awaits the check-up to establish if it will work for me! (That will be approximately in a week from now)
Later – if it has been done, I’ll need new glasses for distances less than 30 inches, but those glasses may not be made before they might measure my eyes after an operation. That will probably keep me away for a couple of weeks!
And if I do not return, it is because I’m unable to find my computer 🙂
Seems similar to what I had done. The lens in my right eye was replaced because of cataracts. I have no regrets and my vision is excellent in that eye. The surgery wasn’t painful and I was back on my computer in two days. The only annoying thing was using a lot of eye drops, which eventually tapered off. Good luck!
I believe they are planning to take both eyes.
A bit ticklish situation, but if there is light in the other end . . .? 😉
Wow! Most do one eye at a time but it will be better to get it all done at once. When are you having it done?
Well, here in Norway we have free health care (provided it is a necessary operation)
which means that an eye clinic will have to agree with my opticians’ conclusion.
If so, I pay nothing! Next week’s consultation is about that.
I could, of course, do it regardless, however, that would most likely cost me in excess
of $ 10 000 !
We are getting closer to fall, but otherwise, I think I have control.
But sometime now I’m going to have my eyes fixed. Then I might be away for a week or two!
Lovely! ❤ Hope your day is going well! Cheryl
