No, this is not a new species among roses, but since I just tested a camera program named ‘super macro’ and sot a picture into the core of a living flame, I decided I’d try to shoot a somewhat more normal macro motive: A rose! Perhaps should I have drippled a few drops of water over it, creating an illusion of morning dew, but a test is a test, and here is the real thing only! However, it’s easy to be fooled when there is nothing to compare with, and besides such ‘dew’ would have been enormous as this rose is an ordinary so-called
‘pot rose’ – only approximately 26-28 mm across!
Anyway, I feel the end product didn’t do so bad? But I’m more impressed with how it’s possible to build a macro programme and lense like this into a smart telephone only 9 mm thick?! And to find out what else makes this cameras different from other regular macro cameras?

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
What they can put in phones these days is amazing! My camera is amazing too and does such focused shots. Technology these days is fascinating! Great rose!
Thank you! Yes, the camera technology of today is quite amazing! Where will it end?
Thank you, Eugenia! I’d like to take the honor 🙂 , however, I only shot the picture!
Amazing clarity, Svein! And the color is gorgeous.
