As usual I was pretty late discovering that there was a sunset worth shooting, but I managed to shoot a couple of frames before it was all over. And towards the end of a sunset, pictures have a tendency to be looking pretty much alike, so today there will be one single picture only! With a thought to the ongoing debate regarding the spreading of wolves throughout the Norwegian country side, there might also be a symbolic touch to this picture?

Sue Dreamwalker sent me your way. Love your photo. The sky is a passion for me. We get many gorgeous sunrises and sunsets in the Southeaster U.S. where I live.

Hi PeggyJoan, and welcome to my blog!
During spring/summer/fall I do take a lot of pictures from Norwegian nature, but a cold winter doesn’t appeal to me in the same way. Then I mostly follow the bear, sucvking my paws and waiting for the spring to return, – but during wintger the sky might be brisk and clear opening up for some incredible sunsets. And I need something to do with my camera :-)so aalready tomorrow you’ll find a new one here . . .
Please enjoy!

Winter seems to put a damper in everyone’s fun. Ha You certainly have some cold weather compared to ours here in the Southeast U.S. I will enjoy your upcoming photos of the sky – which is my favorite part of nature.

Meanwhile PeggyJoan, I have a good tip for you:
At our front page you’ll find a small ‘search window’? Try to insert ‘Sunset’ and follow through hitting on the ‘Enter’-button. Then you may enjoy your favourite pass-time: Sunsets!

I guess we do, but all seasons have their own charme. Yesterday they had snow in southern Spain and last week
snow falls created chaotic traffic in the city of Istanbul in Turkey! One never quite know these days!

Exactly no.. Never two skies ever alike.. Which is why I love to cloud watch and see the forever changing sky.. Thank you for sharing the beauty of that Moment.

Thank you! So you are a ‘cloud watcher’, Sue?
Would you be interested in seeing what I’ve caught up there? I’ve been doing that for years, but you’ve got to watch with camera ready
for action, because when you suddenly find something remarkable, iot may be gone in less than 10 seconds.
I once published a picture of ‘the trapper’. Did you see that one?

You know Svein I have seen so many of your wonderful skies I can not remember if the Trapper was among them or not I will be honest..
But I love what you spend ages for looking through the lens.. I know how quickly the clouds move and change.. xx
