My Day!

There is really not much to do when it comes to ‘age’?! It’s just coming! And gradually it takes over your body, your  brain capacity, physics and other functions while the owner of this body (me) just has to ‘sit on the sideline’ observing it all. Expired! The degradation of vital features, but – one can for as long as possible resist! And you can publish your observations so that others have time to prepare for what will eventually happen to
all of us?!
And then you can – no matter how strange it sounds – put some colors to this condition. Decorate life a bit, but without it helping much 🙂 And – in such case I resort to the nature around me and my hobby: Photography!

I enkelte tilfeller

These images are taken from a wonderful sunrise only a couple of days ago! In some cases the sun won’t even get here! Yes, of course , it does, however due to a low lying cloud ceiling it sort of slips above it before it may be observed from here. But we do get the colors!

The sun seems to be getting closer, but – as you are about to see – it is easy to be disappointed!
_
Og det var det!  Selve solskiven kom aldri tilsyne.

And that was it! The sun disk itselfl never appeared that day! Not before long into the day!
But – this is of less importance! I celebrate my 85 year day as planned – with or without the sun! 🙂 And you have been able to sheare this event with me! Mission accomplished!

Nydelige bilder. Gratulerer med overstått, Svein 🎂🥂💐

I hope you are doing good and enjoying more light these days. Cheers!

  2. Eugi says:

Happy Birthday, Svein! Seems the sunrise was wishing you a Happy Birthday, as well. The glorious sunrise ascending above the snow-covered homes and landscape is very dramatic.

Best Wishes for a very Happy Birthday and many more to follow, Svein, preferably in a healthy and active state. Photography is such a wonderful hobby as we age. One just has to raise the camera, aim and press the shutter button.

I’ve even left my heavy camera and lens on a tripod and set up for photographing birds, dawn & sunset after my 2nd spinal surgery in 2015 when I couldn’t lift much weight while recovering. But then I do/did have floor to ceiling windows and a Room with a View at that time.

I know the feeling! Myself I have 3 separate photo bags standing on the floor i my basement – not been touched for a couple of years now! My phone seems to be up to the task of taking over. Now you only have to mind possible reflections from your window! 🙂

Happy birthday, Svein, and may you have many more healthy years. Thank you for the beauty and inspiration you bring into my life.

What wonderful sunrises. Wishing you a happy Birthday. May you enjoy many more spectacular sunrises and capturing them on camera. this hobby brings joy and gives joy. Keep it going! All the best Svein. ♥

      Thank you, Ute!
That is my plan, however, I do have a slight problem with the WP-people. I have asked them about what is going to happen with the OCE, and if my information about an extended support is correct, but so far – no respons! They usually have given me a respons within 12 hours, but for some reason: NOT this time!? So I’m waiting . . .

    Thank you so much, Arundhati!
Nothing much to lose! It is what it is! And we will all get there – in time! 🙂

  7. Happy birthday, a day in advance, Svein! May your days be filled with such gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, peaceful moments of photography, and everything else you hold dear to your heart. Your reflections on the process of ageing are candid and I appreciate the frank tone of your posts. To your 85th year, I raise my glass. Chin chin!
