Night Vision II

Som denne kvelden her?
Winter has come to Norway, and with it comes snow and freezing temperatures.
Still, one has to do a errand from time to time, and since these days you almost always carry a phone in your pocket, it is easy to immortalize a good motive when ever it appears. Like in this case here? Pictures were taken looong after the sun had left the horizon and the darkness of night had taken over!

kilometer unna – målt i luftlinje!

In this first image I will admit that a street-light was present to your left of the picture,
but – if you for a moment observe the houses on the horizon, these housing was nearly
a mile away measured in a direct line!

Also in this case there is a light in the yard, but otherwise the night is dark enough as it is!

The tree is gorgeous, Svein! We have some chilly temps this week but seems the weather can’t make up its mind.

Thank you! Yest it kind of stood out in the darkness of night!
And you know me: I just can’t resist a good motif. I’ m just preparing another colorshow
to be published just before my 85-year day next week! That will be fun!

  2. Love the tree….. after 2 days of temperatures just below zero we are starting to climb again 7c today, 12c tomorrow or so we are told and next week we plung down again. A real rollercoaster of a weather.

Our world has slowly changed as clima goes. Approximately a week now we have had temperatures around 10-14 degrees C below zero and – snow! This morning we woke to
a pleasant 2 degrees plus and the driving conditions are back to optimum.
But then it’s rather solid ice down Ukraina way?!

It does look cold, but rather nice!
