After I was admitted to the hospital, there has unfortunately not been too much photography on my part. And I am not travelling as much as before, but if you accept –
I can still catch an occasional sunset where the colors are tempting me to bring out my camera. . .
In this sequence, I shoot – as before – my pictures in slightly different directions and at the same time experiment with different focus points as well as end results.
–
–
Normally one would expect most of the colors to appear in the sky towards due West, however, it is not always the case. The situation may also depend on the height of the cloud ceiling! In this case I’m shooting practically due East!
This has been shot in a SouthEasterly direction.
–
If you compare this image with the image marked no 029 (third picture from top) and checking the angle of the garage with lights, you will find this picture to have been shot in the near exact same direction, however, not how the colors have changed in the span of
4 – 5 minutes only!
–
On the other hand, this picture has been shot practically due West! If you follow the beam
from the sun as well as the clouds, you will find that the sun just decended under horizon
just back of the house located on the top of the hill.
Fargetemperaturer mørkner sakte på Syd-himmelen!
Color temperatures are getting deeper in the Southern sky!
I’m terminating this sequence with a last picture toward the Eastern sky. It is getting darker, but still with very nice coloring.
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
How amazing!
Thank you, Paola!
I love to shoot ‘amazing pictures’! 🙂
Wonderful and magic colours! Lucky you!
Thank you! Today – without travels – this is what I get! 🙂
Sunsets – sunrises – cloud formations and possible one or to macro opportunities! 🙂
Hjemme igjen?
How fascinating that the sunset in each shot has a different aura. Beautiful colors and amazing how the sky changes so quickly.
They all have! No matter where in the world you are shooting sunsets, However, it would be wise to think through how a camera works, thus paying more attention to the choice of focal points and the light intensity in each and every one. Your choices will mirror the entire end result of the images you are about to shoot!
That will make ‘photography’ far more interesting as a hobby!
It is amazing how fast your sky changes colour. Beautiful!
Yes, this time of the year things are moving fast. And the air is somewhat cleaner with
less dust which may enhance the colors a bit.
Well, I was there for something like a week and the sent home with some tablets.
I was told they would contact me in a couple of weeks in order to contemplate what we ought to do next, but by now it has been 5 or 6 weeks? Tried to call in, but nobody seemed to know which person to talk to, and nobody has bothered to call me back! And I cannot feel anything out of order in particular so I’m contemplating to leave it at that-
At least for the time being . . . 🙂
Beautiful sky colour. It never ceases to amaze me how much the sky colour can change in a matter of minutes….. on the same day.
Hope your stay in hospital is/was a short one 🙂
