Cramped for Space

Out on the terrace, I suddenly discovered a slightly mysterious dark spot on the railing around the terrace. A wet leaf? But – there had been no rain? Nor had there been much wind? So carefully I went closer. . .
But – no, this was no leaf! More like an ‘extended family’ in a somewhat problematic housing market? Now – I have seen similar situations through previous years, but a while since last sighting now. So perhaps this are a picture that you can all try to remember if your housing situation becomes difficult? There are always some who have it harder! 🙂
I was a little hesitant to which of these pictures was the sharpest, so then you get them both!  And in addition a small panic image that arose when I gently blew a little unexpected airflow towards this family. Pure panic!

I estimate that each of these small spiders could measure approximately 1,5 mm across!

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

So many, I have never seen anything like that ! Super pictures… I thought first they were bees.

Yes, looking at colors only, it is easy to mistake for wasps or bees, but I have seen them before. (3-4 years ago) However this time they were all gathered i a solid ‘patch’ looking like a leaf untill I disturbed them!

    • Seenorway says:

Easy, Gal! They cannot reach you through the screen! 🙂

Oh, thank goodness! We had a roach in our apartment night before last. They get in from our balcony as we go in and out. Well, he didn’t get past our cat, Callie! It was quite the chase!

        • Seenorway says:

I have been there! Our cat chased a mice all through the livingroom until it succeed to wedge itself behind a book shelf where the cat was unable to get at it. But – I did!
And that was the end of it. All documented on my blog, but I can no longer remember in what year? ( Possibly 2017/18?)
