One May Evening

It’s been a miserable May so far, but – now it is getting brighter. The sun and also the temperatures are starting to reach the level we associate with an upcoming summer! Many evenings totally without clouds, but some behave nicely towards potential photographers and offers cloud-images that are worth experimenting with . . .
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me tINDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Thank you! I feel a exitement looking at the developement from one minute to the next.
Sometimes there will be nothing, but on other occasions I can shoot 20-30 pictures in a row!
All with slightly different focusing points.

  2. I don’t know if you like it or not, but I see the same colours here, durung the sunset

I don’t much mind, Paola! 🙂 Where ever the sun decends, there is a posibillity of clods in the sky – depending on lows/highs and tempertures. May be the colors will be mainly yellow, but at times there will be clouds underneath the horizon that will make the clouds change colors towards red/orange. Some people walk past such sights whilst others cherrish the sights and bring out their cameras.
And – because the further North you are (during summer) the shorter time the sun is gone. In the Northern parts of Norway it does not dip undeneath the horizon at all for quite some time!
That makes for some differences compared to sunsets closer to the equator!

      • It’s true, the differences are between places with a big different latitude. I’d really like to vist Norway during the “white nights”. I experienced it in St. Petersburg, some years ago, it was magic
