One Evening in May

While we await the summer,  in Norway we will celebrate our national day (May 17) and – as usual, there is great excitement regarding the weather. And that despite the fact that it will probably be a slightly strange celebration, and quite a bit different from what we are used to here in Norway. Fortunately for new visitors to my blog, I have previously made a fairly comprehensive photo report from such a celebration. May 17 celebration – report which you may see in full here: National Day Celebration
But – as a small introduction, I publish a beautiful sunset – only a few days old.

Because – it is not a given that we hit with the weather this time?

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Thank you, Ute. We will make the best of it, but the weather is not quite what we wished for! Pouring rain all over the place except for the West coast which has sunny weather today. But there is always a ‘tomorrow’, and the summer has not yet started!

Beautiful photo, Svein! Enjoy your celebration!

Thank you! THe weather forecast predicts rain and 12 degrees plus!
But – we will be having a small family gathering with fresh shrimps and a glas of wine.
That will be nice after all this isolation business!
