Our Tenant Died!

uten å være særlig klar over situasjonen.
When winter sets in with cold and icy winds, desperation grips our little friends from summer who are desperately looking for a safe place to survive the winter. When spring announces its coming, they wake up to life – often in places where you were not expected them to be? Like for example, in our basement ?! But – it will not take a big crack before they manage to push themselves to safety. Then it is more difficult to remember the way back into nature. Like this bumblebee that had admittedly survived the winter, but which had probably gone off for the age limit without being particularly aware of the situation.
It did, however, give me the opportunity to take a couple of proper macro photos, but – since the night temperature has often fallen well below ‘zero’ in recent nights, I left him on the carpet overnight! Only – come next morning it was unfortunately over!

Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Yes, but take a peek at the carpet in the first picture compared to that of no 2.
The margines are that small. Evidently my camera must have chosen a focusing point
just below the bumblebee which then changes everything! 🙂
