The Winter Wonderland

Like over Jul slo været om og solen tittet frem.
Until Christmas we had a lot of mild weather with fog, rain, and mostly cloudy weather, but – we remained at plus degrees, and even though the weather was gloomy, most of us did not have to shovel snow! But – nothing lasts forever.
Just over Christmas, the weather changed and the sun peeked out. With it also came cold and periodic snowfall. And the last 3-4 days it has been proper winter weather with temperatures from 12 – 17 degrees below zero! Sometimes – when the sun is at the right angle in the sky – it may look like the trees are overhanging with a veil of glittering diamonds, but – it’s cold! Brrr! Nevertheless, with a heated camera, I have managed to capture some motives for you!

Such beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing. ❄

    • Seenorway says:

Thank you, Ashwini! Glad to have you! There are more than 8000 pictures published and – most of them are in ‘full screen’, which means that you may click them twice over to increase the sizes. In most cases they will become larger than your screen and you may have to scroll in different directions, but you will get the full scope! Looks like you are writing out of India?

      • Ashwini says:

        Oh, I see! I didn’t do that. Thanks. 🙂

The images are indeed beautiful. Would love to come back time and again and explore more of what the beautiful Norway has to offer.

Yep, writing from India. It’s summer here and although I love summer very much.. it was nice to escape to Norway for some time. Looking forward to more such wonderful posts on your blog. 🌼

  4. We remain grey and very wet…. maybe floods next week…..even deep snow would be better than our weather pattern this winter. Enjoy 😉

What a stunning series of images. I always enjoy seeing snow-covered landscapes on the Northern Hemisphere blogs I follow (living in a temperate climate as I do in Melbourne, Aust).
