Chilly Morning

Vi våknet til minus 2,5 grader og lett tåkedis, men så brøt plutselig solen igjennom og landskapet endret umiddelbart karakter. Også fargene virket litt varmere selv om det fortsatt var minusgrader da dette bildet ble tatt! (Kl. 08.58)
We woke up to minus 2.5 degrees and light fog, but then suddenly the sun broke through and the landscape immediately changed character. The colors also seemed a little warmer even though it was still minus degrees when this picture was taken! (At 8.58 A.M.)

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

That looks cold but really lovely!

Well, it was’nt all that bad. Morning temperatures differed between 2 degrees C plus/minus.
We expect it to become much colder than that when the winter takes hold, but over the last couple of year it has been a bit milder tna usual. (Around minus 10-12 C )
This is, of course, here where I live. Other places up north you might encounter temperatures 3 times as cold!

Oh, my! What a picture-perfect scene!

Thank you! The sun-up itself is somewhere to your left, however, it won’t be ready for publishing before in the morning! That is provided I will have to rush off to shoot another
scene. (Depends a bit on the weather tomorrow!)

  3. A beautiful skyscape! Same here – the sunrise comes and looks warming but my goodness it is cold today! (Cold by our standards … nothing like your temperatures!)❄️
