As some of you will remember, I gradually got an increasing problem with my eyes, and – there were many printing errors and very few pictures! But – in Norway, we have a system with ‘free health care’ – although with quite long waiting times, but I was fortunate to find a clinic that gave me the necessary eye surgeries within 3-4 weeks, and even though I am still convalescent, I’m no worse than I can start sharing photos again!
On October 16th the first snow came this year. Nothing much to talk loudly about!
Just an inch or so, and during the night it all rained away again. Since then we have not seen snow down here in the lowlands where I live, but – it will probably come! In time! 🙂
(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Glad the surgeries are successful! Thanks for sharing the first snowfall. ❤
We have unseasonal high temperatures…OK only 12/13c but still high for the end of October 😃
So do we, but our temperatures range from 2.3 below at night ending at plus 5-8 during the day. But we do know what is going to happen to us. So do you! 🙂
Good to hear the surgeries are done and you are recovering well. Sounds like you’ll be back to photography very quickly.
(I always say it’s photography that keeps me going, but I’ve done little of it for several weeks with the lockdown).
I’ll give you a tip, Vicki: Grab your camera, turn it to ‘macro, and start investigating your basement, preferably with a headlight! You will be amazed by how many ‘friends’ you will find down there that you have never met before! 🙂 A ‘Lockdown’ might even ‘open doors’
that you have never tried before! (But please be careful! You can’t trust all that live down there in your part of the world!
I am so glad your eye surgeries are out of the way. I imagine you will have more fun with your photography now that your vision is better.
I hope so. Photography wasn’t so bad, but reading and answering comments did become an increasing problem! (No more!)
All the best with your eyes. Hope they will improve. Winter is comeing , it seems really fast now.!
Thank you! I’m all finished with the operations (and have been for 3 days now!)
I tested my eyes today ( just for the hell of it) and found a place that I could see from my terrace door:
The parking lot outside a doctor’s office. People came and went all the time. I was watching people park, entering the office building, returning to their cars, – all without glasses. Later I measured the distance by map (direct line) 2970 feet!!!
That will do it for me! 🙂
Jo takk! Nå som det verste er over, så er det jo bare gøy å registrere at synet blir bedre og bedre dag for dag!
Her kom den første sneen 20. oktober.
God rekonvalesens >3
