Sometimes you may get a small surprise you are not really expecting! Here, I had a notion maybe I should photograph a bud of a so-called ‘Jerusalem artichoke’ when I got such a dark background for free that it borders on ‘studio photography’?
And then I discover in retrospect that I have caught a small ‘model’ – hidden by semi-darkness and transparent wings! (Click the image to ‘full-format’, and you will get a better impression!)

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Wow! What a stunning photo, Svein. All of your photos are beautiful but this one is truly outstanding.
Thank you! A lucky shot you might say, as I have already taken dozens of pictures of this particular flower, but then there was this situation with the light . . .
The ‘model’ was pure luck! 🙂
