Challenges in the Night

Sometimes things happen in the sky after dark, and sometimes I try to capture a scene that deserves attention, but night darkness is as you all know ‘night darkness’ and the slightest glimmer of light tends to stand out as the purest ‘sun’ compared to its surroundings and – then there will be ‘extreme conditions’ in the area of photography.
My first photo in this report was taken exactly at 11.02 P.M. and – then it is really dark in the month of August! The photo was taken with the usual photo program on my phone!

– – – –
But – then my phone also has its own ‘night program’ which has previously proven to be able to cope with most things, and when I suddenly discovered a rather special phenomenon in the night sky as late as 01.09 A.M., I had to see what I could get out of the situation if I activated this program? And, of course, I share the result with you!
The moon was for some reason somewhat smaller than I seem to remember it, but otherwise,
the camera managed to detect the somewhat strange shining edges of clouds in the night sky; clouds that really should have been invisible to the human eye? But I thought it to be something out of the ordinary? Don’t you? And especially if you click this picture into the larges ‘full screen’ available!!!

Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Oh, my! Both photos are amazing and the funnel-shaped cloud in the second photo looks like a tornado.
