Operation Telegraph Pole

soloppgang helt uten skjemmende elementer!
We have had a somewhat strange winter, and apart from a couple of shorter periods we have not even had enough snow. At least not down here in the lowlands where I happen to be living!
But flowers or trees with leaves we have not,  thus Idon’t much feel the urge to photograph – except for an occasional sunrise or sunset ?! Like, for example, this one?
Because I need to make sure you have a reason to visit me?
The problem is only that in this particular direction  any pictures taken would be seriously hampered by a telephone pole in a corner of our garden carrrying lots of wires, junction boxes and other technical equipment, and that is exactly why this image is titled as it is. Hopefully I will receive no bill from the local energy plant since my removal of the mast and wires was only done digitally?
I have learned from global leaders that what one does ‘digitally’ should be exempt from responsibility, so you see here is my
sunrise completely without any damaging elements!
And would you know, I don’t even posess a ‘twitter profile’! 🙂

Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Stunning sunset and beautifully captured by you. You did an excellent job of removing the telephone/electricity wires.

Fabulous picture, Svein! Seems mother nature is extremely moody lately and I guess we should start getting used to it. I have a Twitter account, which I use mostly for sharing stuff of others. There are some politics but I don’t follow those peeps so my feed is filled with cute pics, sports, and works from the authors I follow. Twitter is easily controlled by the user.

  3. I think the strangeness in weather this winter has been evident all around the world my friend…
And this is still a spectacular photo…
Enjoy your weekend.. Here were are buffeted by Storm Dennis, after having Ciara on our doorstep last week… So I have been hibernating with my knitting…
    Take care dear Svein.. 🙂

Well done, I wouldn’t know how to do that…..and I do have a Twitter account… not using it much though. 🙂

I was on the verge of including the original with the pole intact, but I found that I had made some in-between savings, thus altering the original itself! My mistake! But I do have other pictures taken at the same time that still show the pole if some of you should be interested to what it originally looked like?
As for ‘Twitter’ I have been tempted to open an account, if not for anything but giving air to some private thoughts around some of these messages riling up the world politics. The best idea I have found so far is to find a judge that would consider ordering the entrire concept of Twitter illegal and order it closed down?!
What a wonderfully calm world we would all get!? And it doesn’t cost anything at all!
