A Spectacular Evening!

I decided to share this particular picture in order to give you an idea of the difficulties we
are having in order to catch the best possible pictures from a prospective sunset.
This very first picture was actually not to be shared at all; only shot for my archives to document a real disappointment. Thus an archive photo – not to be shared with anyone!
Time of exposure: Exactly at 3.19 P.M. (And I proceeded to my basement office in order to work some other photos!)
– – –
– – – –
So – approximately about 4.30 PM my wife banged the floor, which means I had better appear in our living room! I must admit I was in no particular hurry as I was busy editing some pictures I wanted to use, but – then she banged the floor yet another time (which means: ‘I’m getting real impatient’ 🙂 so I had to hurry upstairs. And – at 4.38 PM this
is how it looked outside!
– – – – –
Her får dere et lite utvalg:
I now shot a number of frames in different cuts, settings and with different choices of focus point (which might impact the picture according to how my camera perceives the situation!

The very last picture was shot at exactly 4.40 PM (which means that the main part of these pictures were shot inside a period of 2 minutes) But I really hope these 2 minutes were worth your time?

Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

    Absolutt verdt min tid

Definitely worth our time in viewing them. I never cease to be amazed at how many colour changes appear in a sunset on any given night.
    Yours are spectacular.

    • Seenorway says:

Thank you! I am trying to make the most out them by shifting directions, cuts and focusing points as the light from chosen focus point will affect the rest of the frame as well.
And that becomes part of the challenge to catch something worth sharing!

  3. Wow! Beautiful sunset!

Wow, these photos are amazing! Good for your wife for being persistent. I especially like the 2nd to the last pic. Something about the silhouette of the tree against all of those vivid colors.

Glad your wife banked on the floor. They are amazing pictures. So fantastic.

  7. Good job you have an alert wife. 😊👍
