The Arrival

The arrival of a brand new morning holding new ideas and possibilities. Beautiful and promising; but for me it really came a bit too soon as my 83rd birthday still lies 3 weeks into the future, but- perhaps I may use this new day to something sensible anyway?
As an absolute minimum I should at least share this morning with you all?
Perhaps as kind of a symbol of a time always giving us a new morning every 24 hours holding new possiblities and fresh chances for us all? We must only  have the sense to use
it wisely??! Nobody really know how many mornings they have left at their disposal, thus every morning should be appreciated and used to the best of our abilities?!

  1. You are so right! We should learn to enjoy every single moment we live. When is your birthday? Because my birthday too is in three weeks, more or less

I agree with your words Svein. Enjoy every day and every beautiful sunrise as it happens. Enjoy what you have ow!

  3. Some deep thoughts there….. and yes, everyday is a new day and needs to be welcomed. It is also a reminder that we only have one chance at this life…… in particular personal friendships to be nurtured and not squandered 🙂

Well said, Svein! We never know what may come our way. Gorgeous sunrise!

Thank you! It must be my age?! 🙂 I can’t help reading the papers about people dying and
these days more than half of them seems to be younger than me ? 🙂

      • -Eugenia says:

I hear ya!! It’s scary and unfortunate.

        • Seenorway says:

Unfortunately that is how our world works – mostly! And it’s one of those small important elements that cannot be avoided. Not so scary – really. We all know it’s unavoidably drawing closer, and it has been there for ages. It has never worried us before, so why now? We know that the shot that would give us next to eternal life is out there – for a price!
But do we really want it? Really, really?
If 30% of us could afford it, how hard (impossible) would it be to get a job? And would we be prepared to see our retirement funds disappear over the horizon?

    • Seenorway says:

Yes, I felt tht perhaps a small reminder would be in place. After all, I don’t really know for how long I might do a thing like this!? Now it is done! 😉
Temperatures are minus 8 C over here this morning and a slightly with a hazy sun that has not yet decided what to do, Well, actually it does what it does every morning, but the haze is taking it’s time this morning!

To me, you are right with your words, because nobody really knows, what will happen next.
    Have nice 2nd Christmas Day!

    • Seenorway says:

Thank you! If you have a ‘beef’ with somebody, things you haven’t cleared up, situations not straightened out, please do NOT delay the issue! One morning you will be waking up to find it’s to late!
