Our Small House Guests

Man kunne da kanskje like gjerne si at de velvillig stiller opp for husets fotograf? 🙂
Vel,- her har du sjansen!

In most houses different insects will try to find some kind of shelter from cold, rain, winds and other happenings in nature, but when they seemingly have found a place where they feel safe, they are not overly enthuastic about moving elsewhere!
One might say that they seem happy to pose as models for the photographer of the house?
Here a crane fly had found a place on the back of our cellar door and all I had to do was to switch on the light, find my phone and adjust the macro settings! Voila!
Have you ever had an opportunity to study a crane fly in detail? Well – here’s your chance!
And by the way, did you know that there was nearly a twohundred different types of this crane fly in Norway alone? Are you curious to what sort of gadget he’s got just behind his wings?

Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Sorry for the typo – you’re most likely right. He probably needs help because of those long thin legs.

Well, he doesn’t appear to be friendly, IMO. Gadget? Looks like he has his own radar!?
