Hunting the Hunters

There are substantially less insects in our garden than it used to be! It goes for nearly all species without exceptions, and whether the reason may pesticides or some kind of insect virus is very hard to tell, but the consquences may be rather grave! This is the very start of the different ‘nutrition chains’, and if it fails here it will very eaily spread through th entire chain  affecting on us all! But there are still some living in hope . . . Like here!

He won’t ever harm you! You’re absolutely not on his manue and besides – we don’t have any poisonous spiders here in Norway and – the birds also ned a bit of food to sling loudly from the tree tops! 🙂

  3. Seenorway says:

Most definitely! And – mosquitos exempt – they really won’t pester you all that much as long as they get their nectar and as long as you keep a low profile, not blocking the sun and move slowly.
Some of there pictures has ben shot at a distance of less than 2 inches!

Wow! Such clarity and vibrant colors! As much as I don’t like insects, they do have their purpose.
