The Second Surprise

We had all been warned about a shift in temperatures that according to forecasts would drop by 15 degrees overnight! And as if that wasn’t enough, we were threatened with
local hailstorms and icy winds to go with it. But we did enjoy the spring the other day, didn’t we all? I seem to remember something about 25 degrees plus in the sun . . .?
But – the cloudbanks on the horizon were there, and so was the sun! I grabbed my camera!
.
.
And whilst I was standing there shooting these pictures, icy hail suddenly started to fall
all around me! Just behind me was a cherry tree in full bloom and possibly just as shocked as I was?! But the light – ‘the light’ was fantastic, don’t you think?

Compliments of SRB)

Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

Thank you, Ute, but I haven’t come to the pictures of sky formations yet!
And there was quite a few of those as well, but I can’t process all pictures in one day.
So I’ll enjoy the work and share when I’m ready! 🙂

That was a surprise! The photos are fabulous! Mother nature kicks up her heels and you’re there with your camera! It’s interesting to see a clear blue sky on one side of the photo and the stormy clouds on the other side.
