Slik som her! 🙂

The City of Bergen is the largest city on our West Coast and in spite of an endless number of dowfall records over the years, this also a city that expeirences a relatively early spring compared to the rest of our country.
At the center of this city lies a small lake, – or rather a pond in a park – named ‘Lungaardsvannet’. It’s still a place where the ‘Bergensians’ meet socially on a sunny day, enjoying the beauty of spring colors – just like here!

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.

What I was trying to convey: The feeling of spring! Another glorious year in the coming! 🙂

Oh, I love tulips! These are beautiful photos, Svein. I can understand why the park is a popular place to go in the spring.

And there is also a music pavillion there. You ought to see it on May 17th – our
‘National Celebration Day’! (Soon now!)

In a way it is. Mostly children take part but then again 90% of Norwegian kids do!
And every – or nearly every school has got their own brassband!
I once made a report from such an event from the capital: Oslo, but possibly before you became a ‘follower’? I’ll try to find the report for you (since I know a bit more about how to find it 🙂 Please try this link:
Something to remember! Especially if you were here as it unfolded!
