All Gone!

Yes, of course, I’m talking about the snow which has been piling up through this winter!
But – everything comes to an end, and even if most of our farming land only 14 days ago was mostly covered under a white layer of snow, today the situation is substantially altered!
The snow has all disappeared and the mid-temperatures have suddenly established themselves around 15 – 18 degrees C!  In plain sunshine we have registered top temperatures around 20-25C!!
Which feels rather pleasant!

It is! But have you ever stopped to contemplate ‘why so’? Would ‘mother Earth’ have become substantially warmer during the winter without us noticing it? May we expect a summer with day temperatures around 35C? And what will happen to farming like we know it? Or is this just a freak of nature?

  2. Can I ask…what is snow? It has avoided us this winter. Yesterday it was 24c and today predicted to be higher….not bad for Easter and our public holiday weekend 🙂

We have had som glorious days as well. In direct sunshine it has been well above 25 C at times! But – does that mean that we’ll have a summer touching 35? I really hope not!
