February Sunset

Her et lite utvalg –

We are closing in on the spring! Sundowns and sun-up’s all change positions on the horizon, and depending on the time of the year some become more tricky to catch than the other. Because the other night looked promising, I chose to leave my house in order to find a somewhat better position f0r the sunset of the evening. And even if I probably shot 25-30 frames most of them would probably look pretty much alike to those that didn’t stand behind the camera, so I found you a small selection and hope you like them?

Such interesting and amazing shots. The darkening sky seems almost threatening, which lends contrast to the setting sun. I love the reflection of the sun in the snow.

I like all of the sunlight reflecting off of the snow.

It does create a nice effect, doesn’t it, Jason?
And it only becomes visible when tha sun is at its lowest above the horizon.
Half an hou earlier and you wouldn’t have seen anything of the sort because the reflections would shoot way over our heads!

Experimenting a bit with the size of the final product as the chosen size will have an impact on filters and lighting . . .
But I think I’m getting the hang of it!§ 🙂

  6. Seenorway says:

The air is cold, crisp and very clear during winter, thus the colors are very bright!
