Critical Moment in Time

A couple of days ago I shot a beautiful sun-up which I shared with you all, but actually this picture belong to the same morning. Only this has been shot in the opposite direction.
An at the exact moment before the rays from the sun hit our house.
As you may observe – the houses at the top of the hill are basking in the sunlight allready, but the rays hitting the roof of our neighboring house have still a very potent element of rosa.
The focusing point – unmarked as it is on my phone-camera, fell of course between the ice cones hanging from our roof, thus out of focus!
It doesn’t much matter though. Since then we’ve had 50 mm of rain and  3-6 degrees plus.
Ice cones are all gone and so is approximately half the snow! May we hope for an early spring this year after all . . .?

Compliments of PMR)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

I prefer this picture, where thw snow is getting pink and blue … About spring, maybe: here in Italy it’s warm and sunny, at the moment, but winter is not finished yet

He he, well if in focus, but I missed on that point!

Fabulous shot and the ice cones make it even more interesting.
