I mentioned once that I wasn’t quite finished with my testing of my mobile phone inside ‘night photography’, but the other day I happened to visit the City of Drammen late in the evening. And ‘late in the eveening’ this time of the year, means that there are no daylight anywhere! So here follow a couple of pictures shot under night-like conditions!
Clicking these pictures into ‘full screen’, you’ll be able to distinguish the silhouette of the Bragernes church in the back – about 400 yards away. In the second picture you will clearly be able to see the trains at Drammen Railwaystation on the other side of the river.
Begge bilder er tatt med såkalt frihåndsfotografering og uten bruk av andre lyskilder enn vanlig gatebelysning.
Both pictures are shot by freehand photography and without the use of any light sources but the normal street lightings.

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
All I can say is that – when we first moved to Oslo in 1958 – I lived on Drammensveien…
Nice pic
Hi John,
I’m sure the name will create certain memories, but this is a picture from the city of Drammen. ‘Your road’ is located to Oslo but is the start of the main street leading to the city of Drammen – adventually! 🙂
As you may remember, the distance pans out to approximately 28 miles.
Beautiful! I love 5he way the lights reflect on the water
An I love the way my mobile camera succeed in catching the scene in spite of free hand photography! 🙂
Beautiful night photos indeed, keep it up!
Steve.
Thank you, Steve. Testing out my new mobile phone/camera!
Szczęśliwego Nowego Roku życzę !
Dziękuję ci samym!

Yes, thank you! Rather happy with the result!
And Happy New Year to and your family, Christine!
Well dear Svein, I should say this test is most excellent..
The views most agreeable for city life with frozen footpaths and glowing lights.
I trust you have had an enjoyable Christmas, Many thanks Svein for your kind support of my blog over 2018, I wish you and your family much Joy and Happiness, and continued good health in 2019 and beyond..
Happy New Year.. ❤
Sue 🙂
Same to you, Sue!
Well, I’m rather happy with the night pictures and my mobile camera in general. Only weak point is the moving motives (at night) since there is a separate setting for moving motives that work sufficiently in most cases during daylight. But I think you all will be seeing more
mobile phone photos in the future?! 🙂
Fabulous.. 🙂
Thank you! And Happy New Year!
