The Day before the Day

Det er dagen før selve julaften! Nei, vi har ikke hatt tid til å pynte det tradisjonelle juletreet ennå, men det ordner seg vel i løpet av dagen . . .? Men ellers begynner stress-faktoren å avta noe. Det vi ikke har gjort nå, det blir det ingenting av! 🙂
Positivt er det jo at naturen også synes å gi sitt bidrag ? Riktignok var det litt over 7 minusgrader på morgenkvisten, men det er varslet sol . . .
It’s the day before the Christmas Eve itself!  And ‘no’, we haven’t yet had the time to decorate our traditional Christmas tree, but somehow it will probably happen some time today? And – the annual stress factor seems to decrease slightly!?
What we haven’t accomplished by now will most likely remain undone?! So be it!  🙂
A positive thing is that nature seems to play along? It was, however, a bit colder than
7 degrees C below zero this morning, but the forecast says ‘sunny’ . . .

Compliments of SRB)

    Merry Christmas, Svein. Enjoy!

  2. -Eugenia says:

We put up our tree a week ago. Its glow does lend some magic to the room! I agree the real magic is gifts from mother nature. And then there’s the magic we create in our own minds. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

    • Seenorway says:

Thank you! The same to you! Only tomorrow now, and the world may return to ‘normal’ – or nearly normal, I should say!

      • -Eugenia says:

Yes, nearly normal – whatever that means in todays world. 🙂

        • Seenorway says:

Or you could look for ‘the American God/guru on twitter and get at first han eperience of what’s NOT normal 🙂 Never a dull moment on Twitter these days!

          • -Eugenia says:

You know, I have a Twitter account and forget to look at it! I only follow those that I like because there are a lot of wierdos on Twitter and you’re right, never a dull moment.

            • Seenorway says:

I have never had a Twitter-profile (and probably never will), thus my entire experience with twitter is based on what I read from the newspapers around the world. Weirdos like that ought to have their own platform/club and – what do you think ? Maybe they have?
              Twitter! 🙂

            • -Eugenia says:

The wierdos wouldn’t be able to bully their victims if they had their own platform. They are more successful with their bullying ways when they are able to infiltrate sites such as Twitter, Facebook, etc.

            • Seenorway says:

Yes, I know, but we agreed that the majority of these are using twitter today? So let them have it?! Their own playground where they might spend the days bullying each other?
Personally I’ve left the Facebook and will never return. And I won’t ever open a Twitter account!

            • -Eugenia says:

              I wouldn’t bother with Twitter if I didn’t have beBee.com.

  3. Seenorway says:

Yes, magic is something that comes by itself! 🙂 Like the sun in the mornings, the song from a blackbird one late afternoon, the northern lights in the sky – or the true love from a woman. . . !
The rest I leave to you! 🙂

    A lovely view.
Although I know, a lot of people are decorating their Christmas trees already day or weeks before, I prefere seeing it ready and lit not before the dark afternoon of the 24th of December, even if I have to do the work just for a few days. There must be a difference between decoration and magic. Have wonderful days, then!
