This time of the year there’s no telling what to expect the next morning! You may go to bed with temperatures around 2-3 degrees plus and a relatively green lawn, but waking up the next morning, the temperatures might be 6-7 degrees below zero and the lawn might look something like this!

Lovely winter landscapes. I wouldn’t mind a bit of your snow right now. It’s hot and humid here. Too many thunderstorms too.
But you didn’t feel the recent tsunami in the Pacific? (Somewhere NNE of Wellington I believe?)
So beautiful, and the sky, light blue and rose
Thank you, Paola. The air is rather clear and crisp during the winter season,
and that does have an impact on colors!
A winter wonderland, indeed! Stay warm and safe!
Always trying! And a little planning usually does it!
😉
I love waking up to a surprise fall in snow.. ( at least now when I don’t have to go scrape the car and travel to work in it ) lol.. Fabulous photos.. Keep warm and stay safe.. ❤
I don’t much care, Sue, as I’m driving a 4×4! But unless I did, I probably wouldn’t be able to get home at times.
Yes we have a 4×4, now, we live on a hill, and many a time I could get stuck in the snow before we had it. 😀
Love the light in the second photo.
Thank you, Bela. It’s taken rather early in the morning when the sun rose above the horizon (about 8.00 am I should think!)
Well, David, 95% of our weather is coming from the UK/Scotland-region. (‘Leftovers’), but we’re used to this. And with a bit of luck most of it might disappear in a week or so, but – not if more is underway! (So far I haven’t heard of anything, but you never know this time of the year!)
Please keep the snow to yourselves 🙂
