New Season!

The last days have brought us a clear shift in the weather! The air has become chilly!
Through the nights there have been freezing temperatures and the mornings are meeting us with frosty lawns and white treetops and bushes!
Yes, we did have a snowfall of sorts a couple of weeks ago, but – very soon now the snow will return to stay! But the air is exeptionally clear and nature filles with contrasts.
Here a number of shots from our garden focusing on the weather shift!

Beautiful! I can almost smell the crispness in the air and the decaying leaves.

      Why, thank you, Paola!
That means I may trust my new mobile camera to do the job?! But there are certain situations where I would always need my main camera. And I suppose that’s the way it will just have to be?!

Wow! These are just stunning with the contrasts and color variations. Nature presents many opportunities for picture taking, indeed.

Not really even snowflakes yet, however, we did have snow a couple of weeks ago that lasted for 2-3 days. Nothing serious! But there comes a time when it won’t go away! Already we do have solid snow above 2500 feet and the snowline is slowly creeping downwards . . .

      • Weather behaves in a bizarre way sometimes. A couple of years ago I was in Stockholm at the beginning of November and it started snowing. In one night, the streets were covered with 30 cm of snow and some young people had fun going to ski. And again, snow welcomed my arrival in Sweden at the beginning of June some time ago. I come from the deep South of Italy and snow is always a very special extraordinary event to me.
