The Mark of Fall –

There’s no way around it: The Fall is here! And it seems it has come to stay?!
In some parts of our country, night temperatures has fallen below zero, and in districts a bit higher up, some have already received their first snow of the year! If it will remain there, is a bit too soon to tell, but most people will think it’s too early?!
In the ‘low-lands’ we have had fall colors for quite a while, but with some local variations from district to district. Our garden, however, it looks something like this:

Thank you, Paola, and perhaps the last warmth for quite a while?
Snow might fall at any tim soon now! And then again it might not? Can’t trust the weather these days!

  3. I’m with Eugenia! T-shirt today for working in the yard.- making a slate walkway. Must seize the opportunity: It is soggy wet most of the time. Lovely colors ‘hos deg’, Svein. Starting to get a little of the color here, but just not feeling it in the air.
    Infrastructures: Yes
Unfortunately that consideration is not a strong point around here.

I’ve heard, John, – and he just might be without one of his favourite golf ranges by tomorrow?! But I know how this works! My vision also started to fade when I passed the 70, but because I do a lot of photography and use my leisure time walking various mountain tracks, I’ve managed to retain some of it even today (soon reaching 82!)

  4. Beautiful shades of red.

Beautiful colors, Svein. Please send some of your cold weather my way. It’s hot here and even though some of the leaves are changing, it doesn’t feel like fall.

    • Seenorway says:

Well, Eugenia, I’m not at all satisfied that I can. Today they alerted us to an ‘indian summer’, with temperatures around 15-20 C starting on Tuesday. It seems I’ll be spending next few days on my terrace again? 🙂

        • Seenorway says:

Indeed! And it seems we’ll have to get used to it? Mother World will get more and more stronger and wilder weather. So we need to contemplate where and how we build the
          infrastructures of tomorrow!

          • -Eugenia says:

So true, and now there is a hurricane headed our way! I feel we’re going to be in the direct path of this one.

            • Seenorway says:

Let’s hope not, Eugenia? As far as I have gathered, it might be a hurricane 2, but you can never actually tell before it makes landfall. And after all, you’re not living on the coast, but yeas, you will probably notice! And I really don’t know if he’ll be playing golf in Florida this week-end? He might find something better to do? 😉

  6. Seenorway says:

Surely! 🙂 But in addition we expect snow any time now. The time however has been very unstable over the last years, Last year the first snow came early October, but only a couple of years before that we didn’t get any snow before mid-January whilst the spring started mid-February and that was very unusual indeed! So what’s it gonna be this year, I wonder . . .?
