My turn to introduce my self!

Please say ‘hello’ to our very popular friend: The Great tit! In Norway this bird has a number of other names, and I’m pretty sure that goes for other species throughout Europe as well? We’re not talking about a large bird this time. Only weighing in at 16 grams! But
it’s a tough little bird when it comes to the competion on bird feeders etc. where it will hold its ground against much larger birds.  The Great tit is not a migrating bird, however, individuals living at high altitude regions has been known to move down into lower regions during exceptional hard winters.
The global population, however, is enormous! It’s estimated that there are something like 40-60 million couples living in Europe alone!
Jeg ble fortalt at dere serverte gratis frokost her?
I was told you were serving free breakafast here?

Jeg har nettopp pusset fjærdrakten! Ser det bra ut?
I’ve just fixed my dress! Does it look all right to you?
Are you keeping my breakfast in thet old box?

Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.
