Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Bullfinch

The bullfinch is among our most popular finches and are mainly associated with Christmas cards, white snow and those kind of things, but – may quickly become a very regular visitor to our birdfeeders. A very popular bird with a multitude of different names – depending on the country – and here you maay have a small selection of relevant pictures from both sexes: The male  – mainly black and grey/blue with a bright red breast and a black cap to go with it. His female partner, however, somewhat more modest as colors go:
A beige/brown appearance with a dark cap to go with it.

‘Fru Dompap’ følger nesten alltid sin make, og her er hun selvsagt med.
Mrs. Bullfinch nearly always follow her partner, and of course, here she is!
