The Riddle

It’s kind of fun to leaf through old pictures which has been completely forgotten, or even that I once shot. Then memories takes hold . . .
Well, it’s pretty simple to see what this really is, but – that probably because I was there to see it, even take pictures of it, but – would be as simple to you that didn’t experience this personally . . .? I wonder!

Great shot! It’s interesting how a shot like this can be so intriguing.

  3. Looks like the water is bubbling up… Like a spring.. and yes pictures trigger so many wonderful memories xxx

It looks like a bottom of a man with blue swimming trunks, looking for something deep down. Of course it is not as no one would go into gravel….. still it could be a plastic doll….

  5. Well its water and stones but as to why its bubbling …..??

Definitely, and in just that second the riddle starts! 🙂

Perhaps it’s time to clarify some things related to this riddle . . .
We had a flooding those days (As you may see from the atletic field where everything seemed to be afloat . . .
A small river (flooded) runs between this athletic field and a gravel road.
Somehow the water had been digging its way underneath that road and was probably
on the verge of breaking through (but it never did) But – as you can see – it managed to
make a small hole in the centre of the road. And as the water was rising, it pressed itself up through this hole in the road – like small geysir.
And I happened to be there with a camera!

Good try! 🙂 But – I’ll hang on to the truth for a while yet!

I think I see a (beer?-)bottle with a crown cap, but haven’t a clue about the dark think wrapped around or if there was more.
