Winter Evening

I came across an old winter picture, – or should I say ‘atmospheric picture’?
Taken from our living room window on a winter evening several years ago, but –
the picture will give off the same atmosphere today as it once did, and – the majority of us have probably experienced enough heat this summer?

Compliments of SRB)

  1. Very pretty! I am more than ready for snow. There is some kind of weed that grows in our neighborhood that aggravates my allergies from mid July until we get a good hard frost

I have a theory about allergies:
They are kind of an alert from your body’s immune system. Your body is trying to tell you that there is an unstabilty in your vitamin/mineral balance! How can I claim this?
Because I had for several years a life threatening allergy toward hazel nuts. My throat swelled and I could not breathe! (One nut was all it took)
Then I happened to come across a multi vitamin product that guaranteed to get you all you needed. I tried that for 3 months and you know what? When I accidentally ate a piece of cake with a few grains of hazel nuts in it, nothing much happened! Then I provoked the situation and bought myself a chocolate bar with hazel nuts! And i ate one piece! Still nothing happened. Then I ate the rest of the bar, and still nothing happened!
My allergy was totally gone! And since that day- 30 years ago – i have been consuming
my daily intake of 2-3 such mineral/vitamin tablets and I’m not allergic to anything at all!
Nor do I have any indications of astma or any other lung deseases. Now I’m soon 82!

      • That is very interesting! My family and I avoid ingesting foods like dairy and mushrooms. Some are also allergic to fish, seafood, and wheat. I just might have to try adding some multivitamins to my daily routine

If you are taking things out of your daily diet and keep on doing it for years, you risk building up a shortage on certain elements that you’d otherwise have had!
But – we’ve come a long way in 2018. I’d visit my doctor and taken a simple blood test in order to find out exactly what you were lacking (if anything) or what you would perhaps have too much of? It’s a matter of balancing all these elements towards the others and make a completely balanced immune system. I have sent you a private mail!

  2. Very atmospheric dear friend.. Lovely image

Well, yes, normally! But things don’t seem to be very normal this year? Last year they said that ‘normally there wouldn’t be a storm in the far West in the gulf, and then came ‘Harvey’ . . .
Accross Europe the temperatures are up to 10 degrees above normal this summer, and today and tomorerow Spain and Portugal expect temperatures around 48-50 degres C in the shadows!
I shudder to think what it will be in the sun!

I’m tired of the heat, as well, and this photo gives me a feeling of a little chilliness. Beautiful colors.

A winter image is like eating some ice cream, like the colours of the sky in mango, mint and blueberry, perhaps?

I have experienced enough heat, but there are only about 3 more months of summer left in central Texas.
