The Marigolds

Og uvanlig varm her i vårt høye nord. . .
This years summer came  very fast once it arrived! And unusually hot up here in the Northern part of the globe. Thus the blooming of our flowers also became somewhat short and hectic, however we did find the time to shoot a couple of pictures of our marigolds . . .

It’s not an easy task to decide which one is the prettiest? But – fortunately – ‘taste’ is an highly individual thing and therefore most people will probably find her/his personal favourite anyway?

  1. Where would we be without marigolds.. Love them.. And have rows of them growing among my veggies, that self set year after year.. In fact they grow so well I have to pull up many of them..
But this year my daughter was making a salve-balm out of the petals, so they came in very useful.. 🙂

They’re all beautiful but #3 is especially stunning. It definitely represents summer.

Number 3 for me. I love these vibrant colors – it spells “summer & sun” to me.
