Hol – ‘Lake Strandavatnet’

Lake ‘Strandavatnet’ is located at the bottom of Sudndalen valley in the Municipality of Hol. The lake has been regulated for energy production and over the years the water level has been raised by as much as 92 feet! Across the lake you may see the back of the renowned mountain massive named ‘Hallingskarvet’ and parts of the ‘Hallingskarevet National Park’ . If you wish to see the Hallingskarvet wall from the front, It’s a good idea to look for our report from ‘Ustaoset’!
