At 11.00 pm

A typical thing about Norewegian summer is that we week by wweek get to see the sun longer and longer in the evenings. And if one lives further towards North than I do, it just might happen that the sun won’t decend underneath the horizon at all?! But – it’s kind of nice to be able to shoot a beautiful sky even  close to midnight.
Uheldigvis bor jeg slik til at det ikke er alltid jeg oppdager solnedganger før det faktisk nesten er for sent!  🙂

Unfortunately I live in a location sheltered in such a way that we don’t always notice promising sunsets before it’s nearly too late!  🙂
Men denne gang var det nok igjen til meg også! 🙂

But this time it was enough left to go around for me as well!

Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

  1. Beautiful! I find it difficult to imagine a midnight sun! I’m sure that’s something that you have to experience to understand.

    • Seenorway says:

Well, you only see it in the northern part of our country, but people experiencing it often have problems sleeping through the night. After all it’s daylight 24/7 !!!

Long days. Sort of nice but sometimes hard to sleep in light. I guess you have blackout curtains.

    • Seenorway says:

Nah! Black-out-curtains are foir sissies! I shut my eyes, and that’s it!
Bujt I’m not looking out of the window, Turning my back and go to sleep!

We’re practically at mid-summer, you know, and here whewre I live we lose sight of the sun approximately 10.00 pm this time of the year. And mysteriously it reappears from
      about 4.30 am.

Yes, very soon, I think, but up North there is daylight 24/7 through summer!
