The tulip is actually a bit tricky to photograph! If shooting from the side, nearly all tulips will look more or less the same – apart from their color. Shooting from above and down into the tulip, you’ll evidently catch more details, however, I feel I’m loosing some of the esthetics? And if slanting the shot, you’ll get a little of everything – or loose it! 🙂
So what is the optimum photo angle for shooting tulips?

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
Lovely photo Svien. And you have been busy in my absence 😄
No more than usual, Sue, but you’ve been away for too long!
Thank you xx
Tulip fields are lovely, which I have seen them only in photos, Your photo shows stunning detail and I think a side shot would also be lovely.
Thank you! I’ll probably continue to publish tulip pictures – sometimes from above and sometimes from the side as I have problems with making up my mind here 🙂 ,
but for the moment the tulip season seems to be over!
Tulipaner er nydelige uansett vinkel 😍
well! Ja, – kanskje særlig for mottakeren? 🙂
Yes, I guess we may agree on most of these things, but I was kind of curious to what most people would prefer to look at? Of course, Dutch tulip fields are impressive, but . . .
A quandary…. I guess it all depends upon the location and if you want to show the Tulip(s) in context or as a detail botanical shot. Tulips have all gone here another seasonal marker…. though in our little part of England they have not been as prolific as usual 🙂
