January Evening

I mitt forrige innlegg nevnte jeg at jeg hadde tatt en serie bilder med tanker på en kollasje, men publiserte ett av bildene på forhånd. Her kommer resten! Bildene ble dessverre tatt hjemmefra siden temperaturen ute var ca 15 minusgrader og med begrenset utsikt ble
flere av motivene ganske like. Likevel endres jo farger og intensitet etter hvert som solen faller lavere og lavere på himmelen. Jeg håper likevel at det ble noe verdt å se på?
In my last published post I informed you that I had shot a number of sunset pictures intended for a collage, but I did publish one picture right away. Here comes the rest, however, since the outside temperature at the time was approximately 15 degrees below zero, these shots are all taken from my living room! Thus the motives might be very much alike. Still the colors and the intensity will change with the sun decending ever lower towards the horizon, and I hope it will still be worth your time?

Solen har for lengst sunket under horisonten og om 2-3 minutter er det hele over. Det ser dere ved at undersiden av enkelte skyer nå totalt har mistet all farge!

The sun has long ago decended undserneath the horizon! In a couple of minutes it will all be over. Please observe that the underside of some clouds have lost their colors all together!

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

I guess we all can, however I found nothing on your blog indicating an interest for nature or photography?

      • atozmom says:

Yeah, I have no talent for photography but I LOVE following blogs with amazing photos and skills in places I most likely will never make it to in my lifetime. Thanks for sharing your photos. They brighten my day!! Have a great week ahead!!! Take Care!

      Hi, Ankit –
Welcome to my blog! And a small tip to one that love sunsets:
Unerneath my top fram you’ll find a small search window. Please insert the word ‘sunset’ and hit the enter-button. You’ll now be introduced to at least a thousand pictures from Norwegian sunsets. Please enjoy!

  2. Indeed, spectacular photos Svein 🙂

  3. Sunset and snow….not had a sunset here for months (nor real sunrises). I always love the drama of an ever changing sunset and cloud, magic taking place right in front of you 🙂

These are stunning pics, Svein. I love the contrasts between the gorgeous colors in the sky and the snowy rooftops.

Thank you! The winter may be rewarding ’cause the air is brisk and clear.
If you may keep your camera still, you may get the smallest details even very far off in the distance – which gives the picture a true depth!
