Winter Wonderland

Actually we have incredibly little snow in these parts compared to what’s considered ‘normal’ this time of the year. But at least the landscape is white all around us!
You have probably seen my chosen motif a number of times before, but this particular picture was shot on Dec. 23rd this year. Still – it’s way to little to embark on a skiing trip!
To me it doesn’t matter much as my ballance no longer is sufficient to get me through such an experience! But I can still enjoy the impressions of a clean white landscape around me.
The snow depth, however, is only around 2 inches!

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to  INDEX  for a new picture/destination.

If you happen to live down south somewhere. . . 🙂
But we have to shovel it away whenever it falls!

I’m just weird and really like the snow and cold. It gets quite cold and snowy where I live in the upper midwestern United States. Last night it was -18° Fahrenheit or around -27 C.

Beautiful shot! I’m glad you were able to seize this moment before it disappeared.

Anyway, you have a white landscape. Beautiful!

      I do, or should I say ‘I did’? 🙂
After having posted this picture we were warned of 30 cm of snow during the night, however, most of it seems to come down in the shape of heavy rain squalls. Somehow I don’t think this is going to last for very long! 🙂
