Not very far from our capital, Oslo, lies a recreation area named ‘Norefjell’ and here there are thousandfs of leisure cabins in addition to hotels and apartments which offer most anything you could wish for when it comes to winter activity. But the area is also well suited for leisure activities throughout the rest of the year.
I can’t with certainty say that this is a result of a lightning, but looking at the location, height and the fact that everything else seems lush and green, I’d say there is a high possibility –
Here a panorama shot of the valley with Lake Kroederen far down below us . . .

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
How I just want to jump into your photos and be there! 🙂
Well, we’ve got planes and ferries, hotels and boardinghouses, cabins as well as camping sites and – we won’t be going anywhere soon!
Start saving! 🙂
Norefjell looks stunning.. and a beautiful place to visit x
It is actually, and there is a rather tall mountain to go with it(nearly 4600 feet if I remember correctly)
Fabulous, I just this morning finished a watercolour painting, of a view from my head.. It had a lake, mountains, and a small boat.. So I love your Panorama views as they give me ideas in my head about perspective.. 🙂
How nice! Then I have avalue to somebody – at least! 🙂
Svein my friend.. Your friendship is most valuable.. 😀
Thank you, Sue! Appreciate your words . . .
🙂
It is, primarily due to it’s short distance from Oslo – only a 90 minutes drive away!
Stunning scenes, Svein. I imagine this to be a very popular area.
