From the Island of Vestvaagoey

Today I’ll present you with a panorama picture from the archipelago of ‘Lofoten’ at the island of ‘Vestvaagoey’ that may give you an impression of how local fishermen built their homes along the shorelines – in jeopardy of dangerous rock slides, but – inside these mountains they found a safe shelter from hazardous winter storms. I really don’t know which choice would be the best in the long run?
The mountains you see include some of the oldest rock found on ‘Mother Earth’ – approximately  3 billion years old!

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
