View from The City of Kongsberg

For dem som måtte være interessert, så finnes det selvsagt en omfattende foto-reportasje fra Kongsberg, men da må man skrive inn byens navn i det lille søkervinduet på vår forside! Her fossen under Nybrua!
To those particularly interested, there is, of course, a full photo report from the City of Kongsberg, but if you wish to see it, please inserte the name of the city in the small search window at our front page. Here the waterfall underneath the bridge named ‘Nybrua’.

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.

If the water is that rough now, I can imagine it’s even more so after the snow melts. Does the area ever flood?

    • Seenorway says:

The water may come a bit higher than this, however’ I can’t remember ever seeing a flood in these parts as the river is rather wide at this point, but a bith further down towards the coast it might flood. That portion is also very popular for salomon fishing!

Du må vise Hønefossen med stor vannføring og når du først er i gang!

  3. Seenorway says:

Well, now – this is after heavy rains. Notice the brown color? But yes, somewhat larger in April/May.

  4. Wonderful waterfall Svein.. I would imagine this gets even rougher when those winter snows melt.. xx
