Panorama View – Oslo Harbour

I happened to find an old picture taken on our National Day (May 17th) from the barricades surrounding the ‘Akershus Fort’ showing you the inner harbour of Oslo.
Looking at the many sailing ships and all the parked red busses, we may understand that this is not an ordinary day. The building to your right is the Oslo City Hall!

We could have included a number of links to show you our capital Oslo in detail, but time and time again we have documented that less than 5% of you actually open such links, so – we won’t be bothering you with those!

(Compliments of SRB)
Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.

Well now! That depends how you look at it. The city limits are pretty wide in regard to the real city.
Geographically the centger of Oslo would be lying somewhere deep in the woods surrounding the city 🙂 , but that’s rather nice as there is no building activity permittged and the population of Oslo may wander for miles and miles at their leisure.
Counting the population, however. you’ll be ending somwhere around 650 000 , I guess?
I read something about being 850 000 by 2022/24. Please remember that we are slightly morte then 5 millions all together. Soon we will probably be ‘red-listed’ as a protected species 🙂

Oslo appears to be very large city, and also a very clean city?
