Panorama Sloeddefjord

In the municipality of Hol we fint the entrance to the largest mountain plains of Europe: ‘The Hardanger Plains’! The roads are winding through the terrain, passing ‘Ustaoset’ and ‘Haugastoel’, –  each located on the banks of their own mountain lake: ‘Ustaoset’ to ‘Lake Ustevatn’ and ‘Haugastoel’ to ‘Lake Sloeddefjord’.
Both lakes are in fact connected by a narrow straight at the far right side , but not very visible in this picture. This is a panorama shot taken from an area close to ‘Haugastoel’!
You may see ‘Lake Ustevatn’ as a narrow band in the back of this picture!

Please return me to INDEX for a new picture/destination.
